The weather-induced terror continues.

Still snowing, but now mixed with, 'ice pellets' - huzzah.

Not sure if DJ will make it home from work - he has an offer to stay with a friend, but I still would *appreciate* a phone call, letting me know what's what. Work is going to *have* to pick me up. It's kinda horrific, out there - and I've just about *had it* - - if you all recall, I cannot call off until March or face some pretty dire consequences...It's not worth risking this hill, though, and Bernard will just have to understand. IDK. So this might be It, folks. In more ways than one.

So I balmed my wounds with 'copious amounts' of Earl Grey tea and, Downton Abbey, as rec'ced by my daughter. Both seasons and the Christmas special in a less-than-two-day marathon! Whoot!

LOVE: Thomas and his evil ways. He looks SO Addams Family in the first few episodes, heh.
The Dowager Countess. Steals whatever scene she's in, and MISTRESS of the genteel put-down.
The whole Anna/Bates 'and his endless bullshit drama' thing (LOL - not my words, but LOL).
Matthew/Mary. Matthew seemed to develop a LITTLE more of a chin, when he went off to war...sort-of, IDK..
All the rest. Really. The clothes, the locations, the writing.

Well, not the whole The Earl and That Random Maid stuff. What WAS that?!? You just KNOW it's gonna come back on him.
