Still waiting for my ignition tumbler/keys to arrive. I ordered them last Monday, and the tracking order they gave me does not work on the UPS site. Um. Meine Liebe sits, patiently waiting, at the garage...while I sit, somewhat less patiently, waiting for a call back from the folks I ordered the parts from.

My son is writing a novel. It's pretty interesting, so far.

Happy Thanksgiving, all! Lots to be thankful for, this year. Dinner at mom's, in a couple hours - then, off to work. THEN - off for my beloved three-day weekend. :)

This upcoming Wednesday, I'll be driving my son to meet up with other members of his team from work. He's been selected for a clean-up program in NYC. Mainly in Brooklyn, it sounds like. This is through his work, as I said - and will entail a week in NYC, ALL EXPENSES PAID. Whoot. Good for him - - this is right up his alley (helping people), and I canNOT imagine a better representative for his company. :D And I SWEAR, I will NOT bungle this up, for him, by being all, 'OMG, MY BABY!', and stuff. He's smart, and will have a great experience. He's an amazing guy, after all.

Taking a break from the WeatherUnderground decipherage/LiveStream coverage/Datalounge hysteria/advice - as there is not much more that I can do, now...but chill and have a nice date with, Dexter. Oh, and two episodes of, Downton Abbey to catch up on, as well.

Not bad for someone who refuses to get television. Derp.

All the four-footed personages are inside, and safe and well, as well. My son needs to get his arse home, though - at the home of some friends, less than five miles away, but, STILL.

Still relatively dry, outside - as the worst is expected, tomorrow -

Uh oh. It's bad ENOUGH that I've been watching, Dexter non-stop-'round-the-clock for almost two weeks, now; mid-way through the fifth season, at this point..BUT -

- last night? I got Pete to watch five eps of season one, and - he totally gets it. TOTALLY hooked.
