First off, I've been accepted into Starfleet :)

Rank is pending, of course, as I have not applied to the Academy, as of yet - but I will be in Region Seven, the Seventh Fleet:

We've been assigned 'permanent' wing assignments at work. I got A Wing, which is a huge compliment, as it speaks of my being able to handle a wing by myself, being a self-starter, responsible, blah blah blah. The downside is...I will be handling a wing by myself. Always. Even if we are fully staffed and have two personnel on the other wings. Annnnd have a resident to get out to dialysis three days per week, on TOP of everything else.

Remember when I had to come home real quick and call the cops to file a report on my missing purse, etc?

They put me down as ABSENT. FOR THE ENTIRE SHIFT. WHICH IS BULLSHIT AND MUST BE REMEDIED. WTF. They speak out of both sides of their face, no? This had BETTER not affect my stupid '60-Day Probation' crap.

I didn't mind the stripey shorts - heh. And yes, apparently he's done lots of slashy stuff - some of that stuff is from, Sea Hunt - just getting mouth-to-mouth, srsly - but some is from, Deathwatch - a prison movie based on the Genet play - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060293/ - which this icon is from...wild 'experimental' stuffs..

And congrats on the 'extra responsibility' at work - it is a testament to you and your caring, responsible work ethic. While it will be extra work, you should be proud. But still, make them take that 'absent' thing off - not right.

LOL! As of right now? I'm not even a cadet. Not until I start the Academy. The World's Oldest Cadet, what a riot, lol. I love that they give actual, 'real-life' scholarships, though; I'd LOVE to be able to say, 'DeForrest Kelley helped me pay for nursing school', someday. ♥

Oh, they did take off the absent crap, this morning - I called them, and she 'discovered' that, since I'd punched back in AFTER midnight, that it had gone onto the next day's payslips, and that I 'really WAS there' - apparently ppl try to lie to her about such stuff. HOW CAN YOU LIE ABOUT...oh, forget it. Just glad it's taken care of.

AND YES. THIS YEAR HAS *GOT* TO BE BETTER. HAPPY AND HEALTHY, DEAR. HAPPY AND HEALTHY.
