Dec. 4th, 2009 08:46 pmGood things:
a) Miss Bev called, and she's cancer-free, and plans on returning to work in January.
b) Adam FINALLY called. He's got the title to the car for my son. *squee*
c) My friend, Diane, from the, 'down the hill' convenience store put in an application to where I work. She is aware of the problems with the place, but wants badly to get the schooling and her, 'foot in the door' - she'd be great at it.
d) My yam layered-casserole in crock pot version 2.0 - layered thick slices of fresh yams, apple slices and pineapple with brown sugar. Unbelievably good, and reasonably healthy - REAL food. 'Processed' by me.
e) My IDIC pin came, and it's a little bigger than I thought, but still fits nicely on my name tag. Laugh if you want, but it's a good reminder of who I am and what I believe in and the whole shared philosophy of Trek. Sadly, the earrings are also bigger than I thought - liEk, '80s big', if you get what I mean, lol.
f) Saw a gorgeous fox on the way home from work, this morning.
g) Datalounge is back.
h) DJ FINALLY put together the dvd/media shelf I bought weeks ago. FINALLY, the HUGE pile of dvds can be organized. Oh, I can't wait.
What do you guys think of THIS? Seriously.

Date: 2009-12-05 03:39 am (UTC)2. It's a scam. Andy and I did a lot of research on low-cost energy options when we started planning what to do with our property last year. He's right about selling extra power back to the power companies, but you can do that with windmills or solar panels if you produce more than you use.
3. How did that guy become mayor? He's not smart enough to drive a bus. (His post got 70 comments? AMAZING. We could beat that record with a post about Star Trek.)
