Srsly, grrl. WHAT THE HELL. Wow. I can't imagine how fucking amazing you'd sound with actual equipment. Your voice has such a bell-like quality - but somehow digs right in and tears you up. Not a bad thing, but kinda powerful.

*Cough* See, I have a problem. I don't have great recording equipment; the best one's my camera. I HATE cameras. I don't like looking at myself in pictures or seeing myself in videos. When I took the vid and previewed it I almost deleted it right there because as far as I can see, even what's reflected is really ugly and fat.

When I get nervous I lose all my breath, and my voice comes out all tinny and wavy and cracked. Here at home, forget it; at the church at least there are some acoustics that make it a bit more forgivable.

There's something a little blasphemous about singing Tool songs (well, Perfect Circle, this one, but basically the same thing) in a church. I had to sneak back after hours with my key and turn the security system off to do it. X-D

We lol'd at the IRONY of singing that in a church, yes, but, a) YOUR VOICE IS NOT TINNY AND/OR WAVY/CRACKED (it plucked me all to hell and I actually got goosebumps from it, what the hell), AND, b) YOU ARE NOT FUCKING UGLY OR FAT. 0_o

Please don't be offended, but I really wish you saw things differently. It's mindboggling. And I aint blind OR stupid, honey. And I know that carries little weight, coming from a friend.

That's Super Nintendo, and LoZ is awesome. Andrew's obsessed with it; he was Link for Hallowe'en. (Actually, now that you mentioned it, he wrote a 'book' about Link tonight, just before bed---it's crossover fic called 'The Legend of Halo'. He drew Navi on the cover saying 'nice gun!' to Link. And Master Chief is playing the Xbox.
