Ups and Downs..

Up: My Heater is finally fixed!

Up: The heater guy was really cute and flirty, too..I *dig* round wire-rimmed glasses.

Down: The Man wants some of the tax return..

Up: Mrs. L's Birthday at work...I got to be the bearer of beautiful floral arrangments for her. She decided 'the hell with it'..and lounged in bed 'til 10. *Gasp!* Heh. Good for her.

Down: Miss M's total freak-out at lunch..makes me suspicious, although I missed most of it.

Up: Miss L's smiling and laughing..she eats for me, and drinks very well, also. We kinda have our own private jokes now.

Down: Mr. E's shocking freak-out episode in the hallway..totally out of the blue.

Up: Miss C..my darling little china-doll peach. I will sneak cookies with her anytime. More hugs than a human should be allowed.

Down: Being the only RA on Wing C...and trying to help Wing A..'cos they had NO ONE.

Up: It is good exercise.

Up: Leftover chili for dinner.

MAJOR UP OF THE GODS: I work *NO* jobs this weekend (shhh!)..and, since everyone on here will probably be out of town, I think my son and I are due for a 'road trip' of some sort...Gotta give that one some thought. He has been so supportive and helpful through all these changes; I want to think of something GOOD. Pluswhich, it will give my daughter some peace and quiet..and some time on the pc.

Hmmm...I wonder if the driving range is open yet?

Any suggestions?

And no...I already suggested seeing, 'Fifty First Dates'...only to be met with a total straight face..didn't fly..thought I was slick...*sigh*

ETA: ANOTHER MAJOR UP: Peter and I are gonna try to get together this weekend. Finally! 'Queer Eye' and 'Mardi Gras Unleashed' Marathon!
