Weird dreams, all involving the 'S' word..you know, that wintry stuff that falls from the sky that everyone but schoolchildren pretty much hates..?

One was trying to evade a huge but gorgeous grizzly bear - and ending up climbing a tree, then jumping from tree to tree..and the other, a sort of scene where I was trying to save a family trapped in a station wagon (do they even still make those?) that was filling up rapidly with snow. When I opened the door, all this snow poured out. They did not seem the least bit interested in being saved, though. Odd.

*~*~*

Again, with the Ye Olde Moneypanic - it's been awhile, but the taste is still the same.

I have a grand total of fifty-three dollars (and half of that is spoken for, in a check to the school).

Get paid tonight, but with being out sick so long? I don't expect to even get enough to pay my rent (which is due the tenth and went UP, yet). I managed to get an appointment to have my taxes done on Saturday afternoon - but a) I don't have the money to pay Block, and b) have to go with a 'stranger' and not April, my old neighbor, who's done our taxes since time immemorial. This does not sit well with me, but I really have no choice. Of course, this WOULD be the week that DJ needed all sorts of monies to pay for various schoolstuffs..clay for artclass, etc..

Being tossed out onto the street is NOT the best way to start the new year. We B Fucked.

Miss you, hon. Saw a 'Chicago Store' in the mall today and it reminded me of last year's trip to the Windy City and the search for snow globes....and Eatzies. Good times.

I'm right there with you. It does taste the same, doesn't it. But somehow, someway, everything always works out. Remember what my Grandy always says, "Honey, they can kill ya, but they can't eat ya."

She's true. I let them do my taxes at H&R Block, they told me how much my refund was and how much I owed them (this was five years ago) I didn't have the money so they backed out of my taxes and I went home and did my own taxes knowing what that magic number was helped me know I did them correctly. Also, you can call the IRS and they will do them with you on the phone. Takes an hour and a half, but they will, and you don't have to pay anything.

If you do Rapid Refund, they take their fee out of your refund and you don't have to give them any money.

Is that enough helpful hints? haha Just tryin to help.
