Day spent - in traffic, mostly - with gayalithiel on a quest in Touristland, AKA 'Intercourse' and 'Bird-In-Hand', and 'Paradise', PA - looking for souveniers to take home to her family. Found a great shop, quite accidentally, and then went out for way too much Chinese food that ended in weird fortune cookies...not bad, per se, just not apt.

She actually met Teh Man and his father and survived The Great Unending Barrage of peter gabriel ™ - and his hips..and his handmotions..and his 'dancing by intuition'..and, uh, yeah. Good times. Last night was The Great Unending Barrage of Joe and The Clash ™..and it was great - she has tons of stuff I've never seen, though we STILL haven't gotten to see the one...STILL. Pete sorta fucked us up with that, last night..*sigh* and tonight, well, too much chinese and too much pg..and we is just crashed.

Have to be up and at the airport at the crack of bloody dawn..Well, not really..it just seems way too soon for her trip to be over, already. Damn.

Yes. A blessing, indeed. This is perhaps the very first time in my life that I've felt so comfortable with someone..so accepted. Go figure, lol. The goodness, the patience, the kindness, the tenderness and generosity of spirit..the mindboggling understanding - I don't want to get all carried away, but her friendship has been just SUCH a gift to me.
