Spent the entire day in the bed-fort, so it was not a total loss.

Teh Man took DJ to his bass lessons for me, and made me a dinner the likes of which I've not seen in years. Chicken in sour cream, etc - but it was his presentation, really. Fresh greenery, shall we say - laid out in interesting patterns. A dozen fresh-baked oatmeal raisin cookies adorned with edible flowers. He even made a separate small pool of the sour cream sauce and positioned wee tiny mice hand-made of black olives all around it, as if guarding it - with a small snatch of fresh edible flowers in the center. I wish I could have taken a picture of it all.
From the card enclosed:
'Hey, Little One;
Our special thoughts are of soft pets (under your ears, on top of your head, just above your tail); all will make you better again.'
And you people think I'M crazy..
