Rest in peace, Tammy.

I can hardly speak about this right now, but she was my son's best friends' mother, and it's been a long, long road for them all. Addiction is such an ugly thing. She had been clean over ten years, and is finally at peace.

My son's band has a slow, sad instrumental called, 'Dancing with the Angels', and he has asked them both to put words to it and they are going to dedicate the song to her.

I, myself, have no words. My heart just breaks for them.

Thanks, grrlie. The thing is..this is really the first hard-hitting encounter with death, really, for DJ..and he's kind of eyeing me like I am going to keel over at any moment. I was going to have them over for the weekend, this weekend, too. Just..so shocked.
