Not so much in the Sleep Department..but, a lot done in the Actual Life Department. Laundry, shopping..and a good long drive, just blasting live Cure as we sailed down the highway. Also, actually had fun *overpaying* the electric bill in advance...just to mess with their heads...
Spent way-y-y-y too much time on the phone with Gateway, who could not solve my problem, but sure as hell tried their damnedest to sell me stuff I don't need or want..I told them, 'No thanks..it aint worth it, I am getting a Dell.' And I mean it. I think that this upcoming weekend off (weather and homework/behavior providing) will be spent in Delaware..the Land of No Sales Tax, buying a new pc. I mean, WTF. I WORK DAMNED HARD..and I don't go out..or do much of anything, really...This is IT. This box. What the fuck. It became real today, when I dumped my entire picturefile onto disk. Next..the Docs. I mean, enough is enough.
..and Yes, Gaya..your CD 'O Cure Video Goodness is on it's way..
The song, 'Sinking' will always be today. Appropriate, of course, because it was coming on as I let my son drive the car for the first time....not on a 'real road'...just down our circle and into the driveway. This was a HUGE deal to him, but even moreso to me.....the apronstrings grow thinner each day. *sigh* So..now, everytime I hear this song, I will remember that. He did pretty damned good, too...
