OMFG. THE B-52S WERE INCREDIBLE. JUST AMAZING...THEY LOOK AND SOUND JUST FANTASTIC.

AND FRANKIE'S BIG SURPRISE?

WE MET THE B-52S -- SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

They are beautifulGORGEOUSyoung-looking, and Kate asked me about my cross..she *knows* her antiquities. WE WERE SO FUCKIN' CLOSE TO THEM...RIGHT NEAR THE FRONT OF THE STAGE. THEY WERE FANTASTIC.

They OPENED with, 'Planet Claire'...RIGHT into, 'Private Idaho' -- my two favorites. I have never danced so much in my entire life. Just great. The audience was SO into it, the B's loved us.

But a) I had my 'dirty' martini..and got wasted, and we danced drunk in the surf..giggling like hyaenas...me, in my long black skirt...under the moon...IT WAS HEAVEN..UTTER HEAVEN....b) I *FOUND* what appears to be a *gorgeous* diamond tennis bracelet right on the boardwalk....*shoiny..sparkly*....WOW.

c) YOU SHOULD SEE THE STEREO SYSTEM FRANKIE GOT ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY.

IT IS SILVER..AND SHAPED LIKE A PYRAMID, WITH A NEON INDIGO-BLUE TOP TRIANGLE......AND THE SPEAKERS ARE LITTLE PYRAMIDS, TOO...*DIES* ONE SIDE IS A CD PLAYER...AND WITH THE REMOTE, IT SPINS TO THE OTHER SIDE..WHICH IS A CASSETTE PLAYER.

Now I can listen to all my old Cure Oddities again!!!

As for affording it? Well, last night was Pete and my birthday gift (our birthday is the same day) from Frankie..our money was 'no good' all night, either. Those boys spoil me rotten.

As for meeting up? Oy. I don't want to miss an opportunity, but I don't want to make a promise that I can't keep, either. The Camden show is the night DIRECTLY AFTER the NYC Randall's Island show -- so, I will most likely be pretty dead, as we are driving to that one.

The way it is playing out NOW for Camden is..I am s'posed'ta be taking a train into 30th Street, where he will meet me and we will take the ferry over to the venue. No Idea what time or anything..and we didn't get anything concrete ironed out last night -- and he is still looking up the info..I DO, HOWEVER, KNOW that the Cure hasn't been going onstage until like, 9...so, I hope that this doesn't lead to my boys saying, 'Well, we really don't NEED to go until LATE...' -- 'cos I want to be as close as possible, even though we are s'posed to be 'front row' -- there is NO guarantee in Teh Pit -- and I am so freakin' short, that there is ALWAYS some damned tall person in front of me with ROBERTHAIR, lol.

The only thing written in stone right now is that we will BE there..and I will be wearing my handpainted jacket and a long black skirt.

Closer to the date? After I have talked to him? I will post ALL....okay? Sorry I can't be more specific right now.

And my bro has the Pyramid stereo system, too! He's into pyramids and ancient Egyptian things. It's all set up in the main living room. Of course, your's is 20 times cooler cause you'll be playing the Cure. I can't say my bro's musical choices are "all that".

OMG. No WAY. Wait 'til I tell him...the guy that gave allll this to me is the one I am going to the Cure with...so, hopefully, you will get to meet him...he is a bit famous in Philly (in the Gay community, anyway) -- and DJ'd for YEARS..heh, you might know him. His picture, etc. was featured in this year's Gay Pride sponsors booklet.

The reason that the stereo 'SCREAMED' my name was my old obsession with Gary Numan.

OMG, I would LOVE to kidnap you...just for a night or two of 'Jolly Adventures'. You would LOVE these guys..and they, you. Man. I haven't laughed that much in...damn..Last night was amazing. I hope the weather is the SAME for the upcoming shows...it was cold, cloudy..and just enough mistiness to keep you on yer toes -- utterly perfect CureWeather. London weather. And the smell of the ocean...God. I hate to even shower it off.
