I think I am coming down with a banger of a headcold.

*shrugs it off*

Ran around all day (IN actual DAYLIGHT, MIND YOU), to Pete's (with DJ, and met his sister - for the first time! She rocks, just a love - and his mother gave my daughter some of her old-world famous cookie recipes!) and grocery shopping. Got some cleaning done, thank God.

..but..finally..Watched the entirety of 'Festival 2005' and really enjoyed it, even though I was still going on four and a half hours of sleep, lol (DJ kept asking me if I wanted to 'save it for another night', aww). I prevailed, though I had to go back and rewatch certain songs after I was finished, even, I was nodding so badly..Yes. I took a brief nap, after, and missed certain people online, I think. What an old codger.

Bush was addressing a group of evangelical Santa Clauses at the White House. Members of the group say it's their duty to tell children Santa isn't real, but Jesus is. Most of the Santas are unemployed.

This IS a Big Deal for my best friend since we were mere scraps of ourselves..A person who is responsible for maybe 7/10s of who I am..and my partner in crime back in the alleyway/cemetary days..This man is not only my guardian angel, but my biggest fan, and one of the warmest, kindest, funniest people I have ever been privileged to know. I love him so, and he really deserves this. He works SO hard, and his personality is SO suited to his profession; he really *is* The Best at What He Does.

He was just interviewed for the 'Family' section of the Philly Gay News and it went over smashingly, the brat. I will have scans as soon as he gets my copy to me. Promise.
