Hmm. Last night, at work, I had an orient. Fantastic woman, named 'D' - who is intelligent, not afraid of work, very kind to the residents - just great, in all aspects. Her main forte' is hospice, and I can see why. An aquarius, with a great laugh. Hope she stays.
As we were working, after lunch, she just paused, and asked, "Did you find a dime, today?"
Bzuh.
I asked how she knew this, as I had, just before leaving for work. An odd thing, just laying right in the middle of my just-vacuumed carpet in my bedroom. Not thinking, I'd put it in my coat pocket, as I was leaving.
She said, "Bet you'll keep finding them - it's from your friend, down at the end of the hallway."
Insta-verklempt. Bzuh. She said that her family finds them all the time from those who've passed on.
So...I'm thinking she somehow knew about mon Bernard from coworkers-behind-my-back? She didn't seem the least bit snarky or teasing, about it. After the initial shock, I felt kinda warm, inside.
I don't really believe it, but it's nice to think about.
