Have a good night at work tonight! Do you need anything from my mystical powers? :) - Actually...LOL. Some HELP. Three more just quit - that leaves FIVE of us to cover the entire shift 24/7. Five. The 'allowed' per NIGHT is seven, but I've not seen that in years, I guess. The state-mandated ratio is 1 CNA to 24 residents (still freakin' appalling), I believe - and I usually have thirty-six, depending on who's in the hospital, etc - and some of them are just frighteningly ill.
There. I said it. It's impossible, what they expect us to do.
