Just got in from Frankie's father's viewing; and it was a total celebration.

Such a wonderful family; the love just radiated and filled the room - they are still all just so warm and welcoming..it truly felt like coming home. I still felt like family with them, after all these years. His sisters look fantastic (the eldest made me cry, telling everyone that Pete and I are 'rocks' for Frankie) - and their kids are all beautiful and so friendly and well-behaved.

Rest in peace, Frank - tell Ella we still love and miss her, and know that you did an amazing job with those kids.

I'm so glad it was a positive experience (especially considering the sort of gathering it was). I am somewhat surprised to learn Pete is anybody's 'rock' though :)
