OMG. Talk about your short days. I got busted having a freakin' headcold by Mim (she was *right* around the corner of the nurses' station while I was doing appetite sheets)..and yeah, she was right; I was hackin' and snottin' (discreetly into a tissue, but *still*) and could NOT stop sneezing..and no matter HOW many times you wash your hands/use hand sanitizer, an airborne thing is still an airborne thing (even if it IS just allergies or sinus).

I was SO damned embarrassed..I felt so bad, 'cos the littlest thing can turn really bad with these folks, as their immune systems are so fragile.

She cocked an eyebrow and said, 'You really ARE in denial about being sick, aren't you? That won't work here. Please go punch out, ok?'

TOTAL SPLAT.

My head is doing the WSSHWSSHWSSHWSSH thing. Wheeeeee. If your heart truly stops whenever you sneeze? I shoulda been dead about an hour ago.

ETA: Oh, and by the way...the fucking heater decides to work NOW...NOW THAT I AM ALREADY SICK. THANKS FOR NOTHING, YOU PIECE 'O SHIT.
