Happy New Year! And a big roundhouse kick in the butt to 2018! Onwards! Upwards! Etc!


Not sure if anyone's actually still out there/here, but y'know. All good. I have finally had ENOUGH of FB - - it's too much for my ailing processor (won't even let me type in chat windows), and nothing but an angry beehive of stress and unnecessary annoyance. Both my kids are wise - and have nothing to do with it. I can check in occasionally if I get a notice or something, but otherwise, I'm done. Again. I thought that Twitter would be a good alternative, but their DMs are actually just DMs - if one tries to chat...they receive eleventy-thousand notifications...So....Anyone had any experience with LJ Talk?


This looks to be a year of major change, coming up. Fear is the Mind-Killer.


Spent New Years' Eve having nerdgasms - what with the New Horizons fly-by of Ultima Thule, and the Osiris Rex mission finally reaching Bennu - - so, so, so, so fascinating, and - as of this writing - the Chang'e 4 is ready to touch down on the dark side of our moon. Freakin' awesome.

Was actually off work for Christmas Eve, NY's Eve AND NY's day - what the what, I know. It was really nice, though - no one in my family was fighting, for a change (trust me, you have no idea) - - and we just hung out. Holiday miracle :)

My (Ric Flair) crypto drip game is growing. Love to see those numbers go up.
