Right on time, this morning - so, dammit, I missed it; but Holy Crap, that thing is beautiful on the replays. Light up the morning sky, dayum. The, 'Rocket Cam' is especially amazing...how the silence falls, blanketing everything, once they hit space. Just lovely. It's gonna go thru the Van Allen belts, twice, so REEK REEK REEK REEK.
ETA: SLOW BARBEQUE ROLL! *spazzes* And a nod to the Apollo Program ♥
Had a random!Apollo program conversation with one Mr. F. from Australia, last night - he was impressed that I, 'really knew my stuff', lol, when making a reference to Gordo Cooper. He wants to go to the Smithsonian, and I told him, 'Whenever you're ready!', and I meant it :)
