Aug. 11th, 2014 01:38 amI will always, always be in love with the moon.
I had some errands to run, tonight, and in the magical glow of the moon, I..took my time. My car is a joy to drive, anyway, so - due to some construction/rerouting - I took a road I'd never taken before, and a fifteen-minute trip became an almost three-hour 'tour' of the sleeping Amish countryside. Parade-speed, 'round and around the twists and curves, alongside sparkling creeks, sleeping cows, and rows and rows and rows of shushing cornstalks - everything was so beautifully lit, I almost didn't need my headlights. I didn't want to come in, but I had to :/
For tonight, at least, the Perseids seem to be somewhat a bust, due to the incredible brightness of the moon. I will look, tomorrow at lunchtime at work - lol, around two-thirty in the morning.
Always looking up ♥
