May. 29th, 2013 06:08 pmI just love discovering new (to me, at least) music. Thanks to - http://www.jango.com/music/Kraftwerk?l=0 - I found Yellow Magic Orchestra, amongst others, this morning.
I've had this in my brain, as a result, and it feels pretty good, lol. Got to learn more about these guys, really dig them. Here in Bumfucke, PA, we missed quite a lot, it seems.
Ryuichi Sakamoto is incredible. His, 1000 Knives is pretty jaw-dropping, but this:
The infinite number of water drops as they fall away, taking our planet's future, with them. The sound of history - of millennia, captured - as. it. struggles, roaring and grinding. The freakin' IMMENSITY of it. Dang.
