(no subject)

So, yeah, I'm supposed to be sleeping pre-werk, right now, but obviously am not.

Yesterday was good. I had to be on my toes, crackin' the whip, but it all werked out. Got Pete up-an-moving and out-and-about and kept his arse on schedule - - enough to get out to dinner with my daughter. A landslide event, mind you. I treated them both to Isaac's - a nice sandwich place - and it was very interesting. I figure that I'm not going to be around forever and it was high time that these two got to know each other better - and if Pete and I are going to have any sort of future, together..well. They have more in common than they realized, and the end result was fantastic; lots of laughs.

The lightbulb moments that made me LOL - a) both whipping out their mutual mini-hand sanitizer bottles at the same time, b) both whipping out their pre-meal supplements, and knowing what each of them were...heh. Peas, meet pod, okay?

THEN, after all that - I had to take DJ out to refresh his stick-shift driving.
*cries*
But, srsly. He did fine. He just has a mega-heavy caveman foot, ye Gods.
