Sep. 17th, 2011 10:09 amJust woke up with my dear little Echo, holding onto my hand, on the pillow. It's like, she has to be touching you, constantly - such a sweetie. God help me, but I CAN'T WAIT to go today to get her a litter box and other accoutrements.
Got some sound, sage advice from,
gayalithiel - who is the pet expert, and - I just know it - laughing, "I told you so", as she's been saying FOR YEARS, NOW that I need a pet. She's been right.
This cat. Tried to follow me INTO THE SHOWER, last night. So cute, this little black face - looking worried and mewing piteously - pressed up against the clear shower liner..Apparently, she also had to 'go', while I slept, but was smart enough to, 'go' in the bathroom. I want to get the litter box right away, so she doesn't get used to going THERE..but, I must say that I'm impressed.

My daughter called, and what a mess is underway, with meeting-with-lawyers-on-Monday and such. The GOOD thing is, her neck is healing on its own - and her pain is random and minimal. Thank God. She should have her car back on Tuesday - - and then, the billing nightmares begin. The perp cannot be reached - STILL - as he's in jail.

Watched, Bladerunner - and it was still awesome, after all these years. :)
And yes, I could totally see how it was a huge influence on Gary Numan - who's a huge fan of Phillip K. Dick's bookswhich is why I re-watched it, in the first place... Next up, tonight, is, Dreamscape - another Numan-rec (the song, I Am Render, from the, Warriors album is based on on Roger Zelazny's sci-fi novel, The Dream Master, upon which the movie was based).
Try not to laugh - as he's no Rutger Hauer or anything, but, apparently wished he was - ( Read more... )
Heh. What a bad-ass, no? Me, I'm just a fan of that baseball bat, really :) Well, that and his hilarious bondage gear outfit - and we won't even go INTO the hair. This was - to me - part and parcel of Gary's long downward spiral; just horrible music, really - jazz and funk-oriented, and drowning in female backing vocals - FROM GARY NUMAN, mind you - not my cuppa, at all. The only song off that album that's tolerable is, The Iceman Comes, really; LOVE that..and, to a MUCH lesser degree, the title track, above, and The Tick-Tock Man, and, Love Is Like Clock Law..but, that's just me, and you know how I get :/
*~*~*
Apparently, this cat likes...buttered toast..and licking my nose. Not a fan of my reading glasses, though.

More (semi-bad) Gary. This is that song,
gayalithiel..( Read more... )
