I installed my first Al Gore Curly Lightbulb, yesterday.

Comet cleanser makes me sneeze.

Got mein Dieter back - and all it took for inspection/emissions was the single lightbulb on the right turn signal that I knew I needed.

DAMN, that feels good.

To celebrate mein Dieter, I made pancakes at five-thirty am, and after my mother took us to pick up the car, we stopped off at Walmart (I know, I know) on the way home, because I needed a new shower curtain. I'd washed the old one and it literally shredded, last night. It was really nice to just look at it and laugh, rather than have it be A Big Horrible Dramatic Deal.

I was able to get new bathroom rugs - gayalithiel can attest to how raggedy the old ones were - and it felt so good, being able to buy the $17.00 ones instead of the usual cheapo $7.99 ones. Silly. They're white as snow - which look good atop the deep green tile, and so so so soft on your feet.

It really *is* the little things, folks.

I finally watched the Big RUSH episode of The Colbert Report, from Pete.

Oh, happy day. And - first tv performance in thirty years? Quite a feather in Stephen's Cap 'O Nerd-dom. SO much love. He was damn near peeing his pants when they signed his hand. :)

PLEASE HAVE YES ON NEXT, STEPHEN. THEN? PETER GABRIEL. MAKE MY LIFE COMPLETE....The Cure would be wayyyyy too much to hope for..
