ETA: Got a message from 'that' Angie - the schedule monster at work. She'd added me at the last minute to the schedule, last week; resulting in me working twelve out of fourteen days - and I was so frustrated that I (like many others) just decided to cut out the effin' middleman - as she NEVER answers your calls or returns messages - and simply go to the Asst. DON about it.
Well, she took me off a day tomorrow, resulting in two days off. In a row.
Very happy about that. So relieved, I almost got teary-eyed.
Couple that with the wonderful CDs of obscure 80s songs my friend Frankie made me - perfect to cut up cantaloupe to - and I am blissful.
