Aug. 29th, 2005 07:30 amSomehow, magically..I drew the lot for D Wing, last night. Verreh quiet, but for the running update on CNN on the impending Katrina. Ohhhh..So many worries and prayers going that way.
Mr. M. can tap dance and play the harmonica like a madman. At the same time. Mr M. is 93. He also was on the farm team for the Cardinals back in the twenties, as a catcher, but broke two fingers on his hand and wasn't 'called up'. I am SO delighted to have met him.
Mr. M: 'Did you hear about that ship that went down in the Chesapeake Bay? It's being sued by the state for a billion dollars!'
Me: 'No! What for? I didn't see that on the news!'
Mr. M: 'Yes! It was carrying a load of viagra...and now they can't get soft-shelled crabs, anymore..!'
*rimshot*
