Mar. 10th, 2005 05:11 pm*sigh*
Just a horrendous, horrendous night. Only one on the wing, again. Just exhausted..stretched to the point, you know? I am so thankful for my people, though. Mary's smile ALONE makes it worth it. Really.
Came REALLY close to just throwing it all away, though, this morning. Seems that our local Channel 10 was coming in to blah dee blah a fluff piece on an employee's daughter who volunteers there. Heh. One of the residents (J) and I kindasorta were gonna...well...we were gonna make up a sign and have one of our wandering residents jusssst kinda walk by the cameras with it...either saying, 'HELP, HELP, I AM BEING ABUSED' or 'HEALTH CARE CRISIS'.......eeeeeee.......OH, so tempting.
But, then...even despite the fact that I would certainly lose my certification as well as my job...we decided against it. I mean, if they closed us down...where would everyone go?
Right.
May or may not be on so much tonight before work..as this F**kin' Paper of DJ's is due tomorrow. *sick in stomach about it* Summer school looms large.
