My first annual seminar tomorrow. Just got back from SATANWORLD (AKA Walmart, 'cos that was all that was open), and feel a little more ready. Got me smart little notebook. Got some *passable* jeans..PLAIN, NORMAL-PEOPLE JEANS..no hiphuggers, no yo yo baggaloon pants...JUST JEANS..yay..down a size, too..and had to settle for a navy top and hoodie. Plain and relatively normal, so I will kinda blend.
All I have is liEk, subversive (Read: Cure/Sex Pistols/rude, etc) black teeshirts and jeans. And OMG all they had at Satanworld was like..*pastels*. Eeeeeee...all eyeburning 'melons' and 'limes' and 'lemon yellows' and 'teals'...in like, POLYESTER..boatneck, horizontal stripes..all happehfoofoodoodleCRAP that I wouldn't wear in a MILLION years. Not a stitch of black in the place, unless it had, liEk, sequins/feathers/puffpaint or, 'bootylicious' on the arse. WTF. My eyes are permanently soiled and my soul is scarred.
NO WONDER ROBERT SMIFF SHOPS ONLINE. He finds one thing that he really likes and buys a LOT of it. I think that is what I am gonna do, too.
Well, at least we get a free lunch tomorrow..and I get to hang out with Gracie. Jean says it is 'dead boring', but that she pictured me all eager and bright-eyed, raising my hand every five minutes, 'Pick me! Pick me!'.
