Shhhhhhhh..

....don't want to jinx it; but, the heater just *popped on*..shhhhh..ITFEELSSOGOOD. A good thing, too; as the wind is whistling outside SO loudly, it sounds like some Ye Olde Haunted House Movie.

I just love my kids so much. My son is so damned funny. I want to get info on seeing a taping of 'Saturday Night Live' for his birthday at the end of April. Or around that time, depends on my work schedule. He genuinely feels that he is destined to be on the show someday -- and who am I to mess with Destiny? Buses aint that expensive..and it is only an hour and a half or so to Manhattan. We shall see.

I like the idea of giving someone a memory/experience for their birthday..and not just 'stuff'. 'Stuff' is temporary.

That is just our 'thing', anyway..'road trips' AKA, 'The Misadventures of Sweet 'N Lo and Juice', lol...and we are LONG OVERDUE. I mean, OMG..some of the fun we have had. The thing is? Even if he WASN'T my kid..I would think he was cool..and if I was his age? I would hang out with him, lol...And he has great taste, too...as he is IN LOVE with BG, hehhhehe.

I am so glad that the Big Skeery Snowstorm hasn't gotten here. Hope they are wrong..and heh. Everyone in class yesterday was SO hoping that it would be cancelled today. It was the very first day, fercryinoutloud.

I am SO going to take a nap when I get home, so I will have time to study...and watch the new episode of 'QEFTSG' tonight...a just reward, eh?

ETA: OMG. MY SON JUST LEFT TO CATCH HIS BUS...AND SOMEHOW, IN THE LAST TWENTY MINUTES..LIKE, ALMOST AN *INCH* OF SNOW HAS FALLEN!!!! WTF? WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM??? I AM GOING TO CLASS, ANYWAY.

I have a small bag of KONA coffee..that I was saving for Simon's birthday, as it is his favorite. Yeah, I am a dork. Fuck that, I am drinkin' it now. It is SO DAMNED GOOD, I can see why he loves it. I can now kinda imagine what his kitchen smells like in the morning...as mine smells like Heaven right now. Heh. Yeah, pathetic..I know.
