I'm here. It sucks; but I had no choice.
a) My alarm didn't go off, so I got up nearly a full hour late, b) I could not fix this new-fangled glam-assed hair. Thank God I am *more or less* genuinely sick. Still, I am a bumpkin..and now, a semi-LYING bumpkin. 'Cos YES, I coulda taken something and gone in..weird-assed hair or no..I HAVE NEVER DONE SUCH A WHINY, GRRLY THING IN MY LIFE. SHAME, SHAME. I hope to God that this is not a burgeoning trend.
ETA: When I talked to Cindy, I asked how Mizz Laura was doing. She passed away on Friday. Rest in peace, honey.
