Um. The heater's still not working...and yet? It is strangely warm in here....bizarre.

Hope it's the advent of spring.

Off to work. *sigh*

ETA: So...why did I just go out to warm up my car, again? It is liEK, balmy outside. Ah well. Couldn't hurt.

Ahhh...exhausted. Feetses hurts us, Precious..

But the highlights of my day were: a) two people telling me I am really good with people, and will be a great CNA, b) taking Mizz Julia outside in the courtyard in her wheelchair..letting the wind take our hair, and hearing her talk (in her deep chocolate southern drawl) about growing up..are you ready? Not more than 40 miles from where my grandmother was born and raised! Small world.., c) getting all my work done extra-early, so I could sneak off and play Scrabble with Mizz Janice, who is rilly, rilly cool...and then having the Director of Nursing pull me aside after (at first I thought I was in trouble, lol!) and tell me that 'That is what these people need..more of that. Good job.'

Okay. Pay me to play Scrabble ALL DAY LONG. I will do it, NO PROBLEM, lol.

And yeah..New episode of 'Queer Eye' tonight. It's the simple things in life..really.
