Finally just got to listen to most of, 'Splendor Solis' by The Tea Party.

Holy Moley, BG. They blew me the hell away. Obviously, the bits you played for me were NOT representative of what these guys can do, or else it didn't come across online. Wow. Almost blew me off the exercise bike.

They have the heavy, smoky intensity of a Pearl Jam or The Doors...combined with the intricate, precise complexity of a Yes (sans falsetto, lol..love you, Jon)or earlyearlyearly Genesis. I canNOT understand why they are not more well-known..wtf..they are incredible.

We have *got* to see them live.

I think that 'Winter Solstice' -- if that is the one incredible instrumental -- is my new current favorite song. Thanks.
