Got a glowing update (first in months) from A..She has straightened out her life, and is going to school now for a degree in Psych. Good for her. She told me that she 'owed so much to' me; for support, encouragement, yadda, yadda, yadda..and that she finally sees a future for herself. And that everytime she hears 'certain big words', she thinks of me, and how I taught her the meaning of them...what words?

'Maudlin', maybe? 'Self-flagellation'?

Or could it be, 'Irony'?

Bah. How nice for her.
