Hiding out here, as there was a message on my machine from work..and I just *know* they were calling to get me to come in early..For Christ's sakes. I am closing tonight, and have to be in there at six in the morning tomorrow..Tough shit, you know?

Just thinking about this weekend makes me nervous, and I am not even there. Sounds like they are already having fun..and tomorrow will be the *real* event!

It kinda makes me pine for the old days of DL/PP, when everyone would be posting one after another in a flash as the news came in! Trying vainly to keep up as 'Demented Woodpecker Syndrome' set in, hhahah..

GenCon makes me even *more* nervous, as I *will* be there 'in spirit', and prayhopewish fervently that everything goes according to plan for our lovely 'Zilla as she represents us there...alone amongst the other ones. I know that her heart is just *so damn true*, as corny as that sounds..and that it will shine through..and that she is as earnest and well-meaning and passionate as the man himself; and that he will most certainly recognize a kindred spirit..a LOT in common, those two.

Just the thought of meeting those hazel eyes. Like, a lightning bolt would probably strike me down, or I would have a seizure right then and there..or I would find out later that I had a big booger sticking out of my nose..
