I'm always having conversations where I start out assuming that the other person knows what I'm referring to and then they don't and it's awkward. = LOL X Infinity. Aint that the fuckin' truth. DAMN. I used to joke that I seemed to be speaking Mandarin..That was back in the pre-Net Curedays, aka, Lost in Amish Country..and it's only gotten WORSE, with age and with the advent of this New Age of Old Astronauts..
But, people are always doing the same thing to me. - yes. And it's embarrassing. People always assume I'm some kind of snob because I don't know who these, 'celebrities' are - maybe I am - and because I don't have television. THAT started out a choice, and became self-preservation, I think.
