Tonight, I intend to squander a goodly portion of this night off work (osteo appointment tomorrow) with my iPod firmly planted on my Kraftwerk playlist, playing mah jong. So soothing, to me. Good coffee makes it somehow better - yeah, I know. Caffeine. Can totally identify with this classic!Fry:
Culminating in this, which my son so thoughtfully found for my iPod:
Hmm. Maybe I'll just watch some, Futurama, instead, now.
My son is enjoying a well-earned night off with his friends, that he's not seen in ages. He's still working full-time (all the overtime you can eat) at the convenience store, and just got hired at Lowe's (chain mega-hardware store), as well, where I know he will excel - good manners + good-natured humour + intelligence + people skills = my son - and be making only a couple dollars less than I do. He was hinting that they're looking for other customer service people, but that it's, 'seasonal', so..It'd be nice to take a vacation from CNA work, even for only a season, knowing I can go back, at any time, but...
...and think of the delicious mens I'd be seeing, on a daily basis..It IS a hardware store..
