heh, i'd go with "cynical pandering hack", but yeah, she sure seems to be copping a lot from Dale Bozzio, whether deliberately or not. i suppose the Lady Gaga experience could be accurately reproduced by playing Madonna/Missing Persons songs simultaneously? or, at least, watching their videos on a wall of TVs (tangent - walls of TVs now seems really 80s - or maybe it's that, as a kid, i got the impression that in the future we'd all have walls of TVs in our house).
