Thank you!

That episode, The devil in the dark, is one of those I love most. I have it in a Bantam Books antology (I have three of those books that I bought in England many years ago and that are very dear to me).

Why... thank you! Really. I'm not used to being considered an interesting person. I think I am, in that we all have something that others might find interesting, but when I was younger, maybe because I was rather shy, I was the one who was never considered, always put aside in favour of other people who were more brilliant, more lively, more... everything. And I suffered this treatment even in more recent times, at work, for example. It's something that sure didn't help me develop a self-confident attitude...

Sorry, what do you mean by 'laundramat books'? Books that you find when you go to a self-service laundry and read while waiting?

Another episode I love, and that's in one of my books too, is the one called All our Yesterdays. It makes me terribly sad but I love it, starting with the wonderful title (a quote from Macbeth). Do you remember it?

Drop by more often, when you can, you don't have to do it every day if you don't have time. Our little group seems to be going through a moment of hibernation but it's nice not to lose contact.

Good luck in getting your flight sorted. I am also going to Hyde Park.

Well, that doesn't sound good! Sorry to hear that. Didn't think we were going at all as my father just passed away a few weeks ago from a long battle for years with dementia. Bought the tickets as soon as they went on sale, but Dad's condition declined quickly...anyway...Our original plan was to go to the UK last year for my 50th, but that never happened, our well literally ran dry, and had to pay to drill another one. No running water for about 2 weeks which was hell, all around the holidays too. Merry effing xmas. So the cost of that was well over and beyond a vacation to the UK. Glad we can make up for it this year, and seeing the boys is an added bonus.
